Let Us Help Renovate Your Home

Want to remodel your home but have no idea where to start? Don't worry! Midwest Stone Source + Design Studio is here to help you.  Our process is simple  - we discover, design, develop, and deliver!

Check out some tips on how to get started:
  • First Steps for Renovating Your Home
Think through how you want to use and visualize a space. It will go a long way towards shaping your remodeling plans. Identify all the things you want to achieve - from functional, structural and styling perspectives and create a prioritized wish list. Perhaps gather some your favorite photos to keep track of similar style and size renovations, products and colors you love. Resources could include our website's photo gallery, Houzz, Google, and Pinterest.
  • Plan for This Early On
Once your renovation is under way, your home will now become a construction site and may become noisy and dusty at times even with the best protection and precaution.
  • Consider Timeline
How soon you will be enjoying entertaining in your new kitchen, a luxurious new shower, or whatever the amazing results of your projects will be

Our Process

Step 1- Consultation
The first step to every home improvement project is an on-site consultation, where a thorough appraisal of what you would like to accomplish with your remodeling project, and what our expert designers would recommend design possibilities based on your specific space, needs, and requirements. For your convenience, we can come to your home or set up a meeting in our showroom.

Step 2 - Conceptual Design and Design Review
After finalizing a vision for the project at your consultation, our designers will work on creating a design proposal, which includes estimated costs and timeline. We will meet with you to discuss the initial design proposal in detail and can make any needed adjustments to the overall project based on your feedback. It is our goal to have your project fit your needs in terms of vision, cost, and timing.

Step 3 - Preproduction
Once you are happy with our designs and ideas, we move into preproduction and begin ordering materials, and establish all plans for moving forward.

Step 4 - Product Selection
The next step is to go shopping with our designer who will help you choose all of your materials, for example-tile, appliances, cabinetry, hardware, flooring, lighting and countertops. Once you have selected and approved these items, well place all orders and schedule deliveries.

Step 5 - Production - The Transformation Begins
Once your products are ready for delivery, we are ready to begin production of your project. Throughout the production process, we will keep you up to speed on timing and progress and will do everything in our power to cater to your needs within your home while we are working. Our team will manage every aspect of the project, including protecting areas around the renovation, coordination of all phases of the work, materials deliveries and all other details.

Step 6 - Completion
A thorough final cleanup means that your brand new renovation is ready to use!
